Wound Management

Wound care, dressings and suture removal available where clinically appropriate. The process differs depending on whether a procedure was conducted at the clinic or elsewhere.

Mental Health

Support for stress, anxiety, low mood and coping difficulties. Speak with your GP about treatment options and referrals.

Cosmetic Procedures

Cosmetic services with Dr Dikkumbura include wrinkle relaxers, dermal fillers, IPL, oxygen facials and medical PRP. Contact the clinic for details.

Workers compensation appointments available with our doctors.

Medical Reports, Insurance Medicals

Medical reports and insurance medicals available for employment, insurance, legal or administrative requirements. Upfront payment, and patient consent is required before reports are released.

Skin Cancer Checks & Treatment

Skin cancer checks are available with our doctors. Dr Dikkumbura specialises in skin cancer medicine and performs most skin checks and lesion removals. Checks may include:

Dermatoscope Assessment Magnified skin examination to help detect early changes that may not be visible to the naked eye.
Digital Imaging Clinical images stored in your medical record to help monitor and compare lesions over time.
Early Detection Matters Early diagnosis, especially of melanoma, can allow faster treatment and better outcomes.

Pre-Employment Medicals

We offer Pre-Employment Medicals. Please contact the Clinic for further details and Fee Schedule. At the time of booking appointments for your pre-employment medicals:

We require the paperwork for the employee to fill in to be emailed to us at time of booking.
To book an appointment we require the employee’s contact phone number, name and DOB. We also need the name and contact details of the person booking the appointment and invoicing details or purchase order.

As this is a private billing clinic, we prefer that Accounts are settled on the day of the Consultation via Credit Card over the phone – or EFT transfer, with Remittance Advice emailed to the below email address. However, selected account holders will have a 14 day payment date.

Appointments

Please refer to our billing guidelines before booking. Filling in the Registration Form when booking will save you time on the day of your appointment, however if you’re unable to complete online, please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment to complete manually in the clinic.

If you have cold or flu symptoms (fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath) do NOT attend the clinic in person. Instead please phone us to arrange a phone consultation or other consults we have in place, or if urgent please attend the Broome Hospital.

Consultations are by appointment only. We at times are able to take Walk In patients but these are limited and not always available. Please contact Reception if there is an urgency to you requiring an appointment.

We are a private billing practice, however we do bulk bill children 16 years and under, and ONLY Pension Card Holders displaying a local Address (6725, 6726) on their card, we offer a discounted fee to Health Care Card holders with a local address (6725, 6726) on their card. Please note that there may be additional charges for recommended tests requested by your Doctor at the time of Consultation ie Vaccinations etc. Other discounted fees are at Doctor’s discretion. For all other fees, please contact our Reception Team.

Payment is to be made on the day immediately after your Consultation and can be by cash, credit card or debit card. We use TYRO EASYCLAIM which deposits your Medicare Rebate instantly into your nominated cheque or savings Account at the time of payment on the same day as the Consultation.

If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so within 2 hours or a Did Not Attend fee of up to $90 may apply.
