Dr Turner came to Broome Medical Clinic in January, 2011 as a GP registrar. Dr Turner is also a GP Registrar at Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Services
Council in Broome. She is currently studying for a Fellowship in Advanced Rural General Practice and her main areas of interest are womens and
Children's Health, Adolescent Health and Indigenous Health.
Dr Emma MARSHALL FRACGP, MBChB, BSc, DipCH
Emma first became part of the BMC Team in 2013.
Emma graduated from Dundee University, Scotland in 2008. Prior to completing her Medical Degree, Emma qualified as a Diagnostic Radiographer. Emma also has a Diploma in Child & Women’s Health, as well as having completed specific training in the area of Cosmetic Medicine, which allows her to provide dermal fillers and wrinkle relaxants. Emma has special interests in Women's and Children's Health, Mental Health, QFever and Cosmetic Medicine. Emma is also a registered Visa Medical doctor and Suboxone/Methadone prescriber.
Dr Rusitha DIKKUMBURA MBBS
Dr Rusitha Dikkumbura relocated from his homeland of Sri Lanka to Australia in 2008 and studied Public Health in Melbourne before joining the workforce as a GP in 2010. Rusitha has special interests in Occupational Health and Skin Cancer. Rusitha joined the Team at Broome Medical Clinic in August 2012.

Dersiree joined the BMC Team in January 2016, although Des has been a resident of the Kimberley & Pilbara regions for the past 10 years. Des spent 3 years working at Broome Hospital in the Emergency Department and Obstetrics before moving to Karratha. Des also works as a Senior Lecturer at the Rural Clinical School (Notre Dame University – Broome Campus) where she is involved in the training of final year Medical Students. Des has special interests in Mental Health, Child and Adolescent health and Women’s Health.
Dr Allan WALLEY MBBS, DRCOG, FRACGP, MPHTM, FACRRM.
Doctor - Locum GP
Allan is an experienced GP who visits on a regular basis. Allan has interests in Dive Medicals, Industrial Medicine, Mental Health and Skin Care. Allan also covers for the times when our regular GP’s simply need to take a break.
Taren trained at Royal Perth Hospital in the mid 1970’s. She worked in a variety of specialised areas in Royal Perth and Fremantle Hospitals. Taren
has gained a lot of experience in country nursing throughout Western Australia from Esperance District Hospital in the south to Port Hedland
Health Campus in the north and places in between. She has been a Practice Nurse for 3.5 years in the City.
Taren joined the Broome Medical Clinic team in January 2017 when she and her husband moved to Broome. She very much enjoys her work and when she
has time off she enjoys stitching with her sewing machine.
